I feel this requires a little explanation.

I use Google AdSense to put ads and search boxes on my web site. It's a great service, but unfortunately the ad units and search boxes aren't valid XHTML 1.1, because Google still uses such antiquated things as bgcolor attributes and table elements for styling.

So I am forced to mark my pages as XHTML 1.0 Transitional instead. Sorry.
